Following that, you will visit Ajloun Castle, the only Islamic castle in Jordan. Constructed for protection against the Crusaders in the twelfth century, the views from the castle are breathtaking.

Petra Siq & Main Trail

Upon your arrival at Petra, you will meet your guide to commence the tour of this enchanting site.

Enter the ancient Nabatean city through the stunningly tall and narrow canyon entrance known as the Siq. Experience the ancient city just as travelers did in the past along the main trail.

Transfer to Wadi Rum
3 pm – Depart from Petra and embark on a 2-hour journey to Wadi Rum.

Upon reaching the desert, you will transition from your road vehicle to an off-road pickup truck that will navigate through the sandy terrain to your Bedouin Camp for the evening.

Zarb Dinner
Savor a delightful “Zarb” dinner, a traditional Bedouin barbecue. The meal includes chicken, potatoes, and carrots that have been slow-cooked for hours over charcoal in a cooking pit buried beneath the desert sand. Additionally, traditional salads, bread, and dips will be served.

Day 5: Wadi Rum Jeep Tour and Visit to the Dead Sea with Lunch

Breakfast
7 am – Begin your day with breakfast at the camp.

Desert Jeep Tour
8 am – Start your 2-hour Jeep Tour. Hop into a jeep to discover the most stunning locations in the desert!

Journey to the Dead Sea
You will leave the desert and make your way to the Dead Sea to rinse off the sand!

Take some time to float in the salty waters, experience the ‘magical’ Dead Sea mud, and unwind by the pool. While at the resort, savor a delightful buffet lunch.

Return to Amman
As the sun sets, you will return to Amman, retracing your steps back to where the adventure began. The tour vehicle will ascend from the Jordan Valley, the lowest point on earth, up to the plateau where the capital city is situated.

Day 5: Jerusalem - Mount of Olives - Old City of Jerusalem

Meeting Point & Time
7:00 AM – Pickup from your location in Amman and transfer to the King Hussein / Allenby Bridge Israeli Terminal.

Border Crossing
7:50 AM – Arrive at the Jordanian Terminal of King Hussein/ Allenby Bridge. Cross the border and meet your driver at the taxi booth outside the Israeli terminal.

Mount of Olives
Arrive at the Mount of Olives for a stunning view of Jerusalem.

Old City
Enter the Old City through the Dung Gate to visit the Wailing Wall (also known as the Western Wall) and view the Haram Al Sharif, which includes the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.

Free Exploration
Enjoy some time to explore the bazaars, then exit the Old City to the west via Jaffa Gate.

Hotel
Conclude the day at your hotel located near the Old City.

9:00 am – We will pick you up from your hotel and depart for Bethlehem.

Separation Wall
Upon arrival at the separation wall, observe the substantial barrier constructed by the Israeli government. The wall features the first of many Palestinian graffiti and street art pieces that have made Bethlehem renowned.

Church of the Nativity & Manager Square
Proceed to the heart of Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity, which is believed to be situated at the birthplace of Jesus.

Banksy Graffiti & Walled Off Hotel Museum
Explore notable political graffiti by the famous street artist Banksy throughout the city, including works like “Armored Dove,” “Girl Frisking Soldier,” and “Protester throwing Flowers.” Additionally, visit his hotel, aptly named “The Walled Off Hotel.”

New Jerusalem
After returning to Jerusalem, you will have the opportunity to explore the Mahane Yehuda Market, commonly referred to as ‘The Shuk.’ This market is the largest in Jerusalem and has its origins in the 19th century. Enjoy sampling local food and beverages!

Following that, we can visit either Yad Vashem (the Holocaust Museum) or the Israel Museum (home to the Dead Sea Scrolls). Please communicate your preference to your driver or guide, keeping in mind that some museums may close early on certain days.

9:00 am – Begin your journey with a pickup from your hotel as we travel north to explore Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee.

Capernaum
Our first stop will be Capernaum, where you can visit the Synagogue where Jesus preached, along with other remnants of this once-thriving town located on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, which became his home away from home.

Mount of Beatitudes
Next, we will proceed to the Mount of Beatitudes, the site of the renowned Sermon on the Mount.

Tabgha
Following that, you will visit the site believed to be where the miracle of the multiplication of loaves and fishes occurred, where Jesus is said to have fed 5,000 individuals with just 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish.

We will then continue to the Church of the Primacy, where Jesus instructed Peter to carry on his mission, and you can even try walking on water.

Nazareth
After taking in the stunning views of the lake for a moment, we will make our way to Nazareth. Once the boyhood home of Jesus, this vibrant city now welcomes visitors from around the globe at the Church of the Annunciation, a reflection of its diverse décor.

Drop Off in Jerusalem
After an enjoyable day of sightseeing in the Galilee region, we will return to Jerusalem and drop you off at your hotel for the evening.

8:00 am – Pickup from your hotel for another day of adventure in Masada and Qumran.

Masada
Begin your captivating journey from your Jerusalem hotel, driving along the picturesque Dead Sea towards the magnificent fortress of Masada. Constructed by the renowned King Herod, this impressive stronghold is steeped in history, having been the site of the zealots' last stand against the formidable Roman Empire. As you wander through the remarkable excavations, immerse yourself in the stunning landscape and rich historical narrative.

Qumran
Following Masada, we will proceed to Qumran, the location where the renowned Dead Sea Scrolls were unearthed. Here, you will encounter some of the oldest surviving manuscripts of the Old Testament. You will also have the opportunity to explore the ancient ruins and admire the archaeological discoveries in the vicinity.

Border Crossing
As the day comes to an end, we will make our way back to Amman through the border crossing, leaving you with treasured memories of an extraordinary experience.
