What you will do

Airport pick-up

Your driver will be present in the airport lobby, holding a sign with your name, after you have collected your baggage.

Meeting Point & Time
8 am – Hotel Pickup. Pickup from the hotel of your choice in Amman.

Petra Siq & Main Trail
Arrive at Petra and meet your guide to start the tour through this magical place.

Enter the Nabatean city through the magnificent tall and narrow canyon entrance to Petra known as the Siq. Witness the ancient city like the travelers of old along the main trail.

Transfer to Wadi Rum
3 pm – Leave Petra and take the 2-hour drive to Wadi Rum.

Once you arrive in the desert, you will then switch from your road vehicle to an off-road pickup truck that will drive through the desert sand to your Bedouin Camp for the night.

Zarb Dinner
Enjoy a delicious dinner “Zarb” dinner, a traditional Bedouin barbecue. You’ll have, chicken, potatoes, and carrots that were slow-cooked for hours over charcoal, in a cooking hole buried beneath the desert sand. There will also be traditional salads, bread, and dips available.

Breakfast
7 am – Begin your day with breakfast at the camp.

Desert Jeep Tour
8 am – Commence your 2-hour Jeep Tour. Hop into a jeep to discover the finest locations in the desert!

Head Towards the Dead Sea
You will leave the desert and proceed to the Dead Sea to rinse off the sand!

Take some time to float in the saline waters, experience the ‘magical’ Dead Sea mud, and unwind by the pool. While at the resort, savor a delightful buffet lunch.

Head Back to Amman
As sunset approaches, you will return to Amman, retracing your steps to where the adventure commenced. The tour vehicle will ascend from the Jordan Valley, the lowest point on earth, to the plateau where the capital city is situated.

Meeting Point & Time
7 am – Pickup from your door in Amman and transfer to King Hussein / Allenby Bridge Israeli Terminal.

Border Crossing
7:50 am – Arrival at the Jordanian Terminal of King Hussein/ Allenby Bridge. Cross the border and meet your driver at the taxi booth outside the Israeli terminal.

Mount of Olives
Arrive at the Mount of Olives for a wonderful view over Jerusalem.

Old City
Enter the Old City through the Dung gate to visit the Wailing (or Western) Wall, and view the Haram Al Sharif with the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock

Free Exploration
Take some time to explore the bazaars, and leave then the Old City to the west by Jaffa Gate.

Hotel
Finish the day at your hotel near the Old City.

Meeting Point & Time
8:30 am – Pickup from your hotel and we’ll depart to Bethlehem.

Separation Wall
Arrive at the separation wall and see the massive barrier the Israeli government built. On the wall, you’ll see the first of many Palestinian graffiti/street art that Bethlehem has become famous for.

Church of the Nativity & Manager Square
Continue into the center of Bethlehem to see the Church of the Nativity, believed to be located at the birthplace of Jesus.

Banksy Graffiti & Walled Off Hotel Museum
See some of famous street artist Banksy’s political graffiti around the city including “Armored Dove”, “Girl Frisking Soldier”, and “Protester throwing Flowers” and visit his hotel – pointedly named “The Walled Off Hotel”

Border Crossing
2 pm – Arrive at the Israeli Terminal of Allenby / King Hussein Bridge to cross back into Jordan.

Drop-off at your hotel in Amman.

We will collect you from your hotel and take you to Queen Alia Airport.

It is advisable to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior to your flight.

Additional Information

The tour includes:
  • Transportation will be provided according to the itinerary in a private vehicle with an English-speaking driver, which includes one airport pick-up and one airport drop-off.
  • Accommodation will be in a 3-star hotel in Amman on a bed and breakfast basis. Additionally, there will be one night spent in a Bedouin camp in Wadi Rum, which includes both dinner and breakfast.
  • In Jerusalem, you will stay for one night in a Palestinian-owned 3-star hotel, also on a bed and breakfast basis.
  • A site guide will be available in Petra for approximately 3 hours, covering the Main Trail.
  • You will also enjoy a 2-hour Jeep Tour in Wadi Rum.
  • Lastly, there will be day use at the Holiday Inn Dead Sea Resort, which includes a lunch buffet.
The tour does not include:
