What you will do

Pick-Up Time & Location
7:00 AM - Pickup from your designated location in Amman.

Border Crossing
7:50 AM - Arrive at the Jordanian-controlled terminal of King Hussein / Allenby Bridge. Cross the border and meet your driver at the taxi booth outside the Israeli-controlled terminal.

After meeting your driver, your tour will commence with a visit to the Mount of Olives, where you can enjoy a stunning view of Jerusalem. Enter the Old City through the Dung Gate to visit the Wailing (or Western) Wall, and take in the sights of Haram Al Sharif, which features the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.

Take some time to explore the bazaars, then exit the Old City to the west via Jaffa Gate, before concluding the day at your hotel situated near the Old City.

Pick-Up Time & Location
9:00 am – We will pick you up from your hotel and depart for Bethlehem.

Begin by examining the separation wall, a significant barrier constructed by the Israeli government. This wall features some of the earliest examples of Palestinian graffiti and street art that have played a role in Bethlehem's renown.

Church of the Nativity & Manger Square
Proceed to the heart of Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity, which is believed to be situated at the birthplace of Jesus.

You will then have the opportunity to explore the city and see notable political graffiti by the famous street artist Banksy, including works like “Armored Dove,” “Girl Frisking Soldier,” and “Protester Throwing Flowers.” Additionally, visit his hotel, aptly named “The Walled Off Hotel.”

Upon your return to Jerusalem, you will have the opportunity to explore the Mahane Yehuda Market, also referred to as ‘The Shuk.’ This market is the largest in Jerusalem and has its origins in the 19th century. Enjoy sampling local food and beverages!

Next, we can visit either Yad Vashem (the Holocaust Museum) or the Israel Museum (which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls). Please let your driver or guide know your preference, keeping in mind that some museums may have early closing times on certain days. Conclude the day at your hotel for an overnight stay.

Pick-Up Time & Location
9:00 am – Depart from your hotel and travel north to explore Nazareth and The Sea of Galilee.

We will proceed to Capernaum, where you can visit the Synagogue where Jesus preached, along with other remnants of this once-thriving town on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, which became his chosen home. You will also visit the Mount of Beatitudes, the site of the renowned Sermon on the Mount. Following that, you will see the location believed to be where the miracle of the multiplication of loaves and fishes occurred, where Jesus is said to have fed 5,000 individuals with just 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish. Then, we will continue to the Church of the Primacy, where Jesus instructed Peter to carry on his mission, and you can even try walking on water.

Nazareth
After taking in the stunning views over the lake for a moment, we will proceed to Nazareth. The childhood home of Jesus has transformed into a vibrant city, and at the Church of the Annunciation, you will encounter visitors from all around the globe. This diversity is also evident in the design of the contemporary structure. Return to your hotel in Jerusalem for overnight.

Pick-Up Time & Location
8:00 am – Departure from your hotel for an exciting day of discovery in Masada and Qumran.

Begin your captivating adventure from your Jerusalem hotel, driving along the picturesque Dead Sea towards the magnificent fortress of Masada. Constructed by the illustrious King Herod, this remarkable stronghold is steeped in history, having been the site of the zealots' last stand against the formidable Roman Empire. As you wander through the significant excavations, immerse yourself in the stunning landscape and rich historical narrative.

Qumran
Following this, we will proceed to Qumran, the location where the renowned Dead Sea Scrolls were unearthed. Here, you will encounter some of the oldest surviving manuscripts of the Old Testament. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore the ancient ruins and admire the archaeological discoveries in the vicinity.
As the day comes to an end, we will return to Amman via the border crossing, leaving you with treasured memories of an extraordinary experience.

This service offers exclusive "VIP" waiting areas, help with immigration, security, and luggage, along with a van shuttle connecting the terminals. Typically, clients are prioritized at the front of any lines. The VIP service can significantly reduce frustration and expedite the crossing process, especially during busy times, making it a more comfortable experience. Please let us know in advance if you wish to utilize the VIP service, and our driver will take you straight to the VIP Service office at the border.

When traveling from Amman to Jerusalem, the VIP service eliminates the wait for the shuttle bus between the Jordanian and Israeli terminals, as a van is provided. Additionally, the VIP service allows you to bypass all queues for security checks and immigration procedures, which can save you a lot of time and hassle. However, please be aware that the VIP service does not reduce the number of immigration checks, and you may still experience delays if the authorities have questions for you.

When traveling from Jerusalem to Amman, the VIP service helps you avoid waiting in line for immigration and eliminates the need to wait for the shuttle bus from the Israeli to the Jordanian terminal, as a van transfer is included. It also reduces your waiting time at the immigration service in the Jordanian terminal.

In general, our advice regarding the VIP Crossing Service is:

Use the shuttle bus if you find the cost of the VIP service to be too high.

If you’re willing to spend a little extra to save time and avoid hassle, consider the VIP service from Amman to Jerusalem.

If budget is not a concern, we recommend using the VIP service for both trips: from Amman to Jerusalem and from Jerusalem to Amman.

ETA-IL refers to the Electronic Travel Authorization for Israel. This digital travel permit enables tourists and business travelers from countries that do not require a visa to visit Israel for short stays, usually up to 90 days. It works like the U.S. ESTA or Canada’s eTA, providing pre-approval for entry at the border, but it does not ensure entry, as border control officers make the final decision upon arrival.

Operating Hours:

Sunday – Thursday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (final entry at 1:30 pm)

Friday: 8:00 am – 3:30 pm (final entry at 11:30 am)

Saturday – Closed

The border crossing will not be operational on Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) and the Muslim New Year (Ra’s al-Sana al-Hijriyah).

Additionally, opening hours may vary on other Jewish, Muslim, and national holidays. These holidays are typically announced at the start of the year.

Exit Taxes

When departing from either side of the border, an exit tax is required to be paid upon leaving the country.

The exit tax for departing from Jordan is 10 JOD (approx. 14 USD).
The exit Israel for departing from Israel is 208 ILS (approx. 67 USD)
